We did it, gang. We got the darn thing back on vinyl.
We made a 2-disc deluxe edition while we were at it.
That’s all the B-sides from the Brain Thrust Mastery album cycle, plus four of the A-sides recorded live in London’s Union Chapel back in 2008 (at a show where, no shit, Bono and The Edge opened for us).
Pre-sale begins today at our UK webstore, and will be up tomorrow or Friday at our US store. Shipping starts November 1.
There are, of course, a couple of other things you can throw your ill-gotten crypto at…
We know, you’ve got questions. How did this finally happen? The oracle said it was impossible! Can cats really wear tuxedos? Can bugs?
There’s time for all that, probably to be sifted through in a couple of exhaustive stoop chats. There are also demos — yes, there are always demos. Acoustic versions? Hmm. Why not! Let’s get this blog back up and jumpin’.
For now, go check out the stuff. And, oh! The shows! We can’t remember if we’re doing Brain Thrust Mastery shows because we were able to reprint the vinyl, or if we’re reprinting the vinyl because of the shows. 🤷♀️ Either way, both are happening. Tickets remain for just two of the UK gigs — Southampton and Newcastle — and yesterday we announced an NYC date on Dec. 4, shortly after the UK run. (NYC tickets go on sale Friday.)
Wow. Big day.
🖤,
Keith & Chris
How fast life's plans change. Note to self on Sept 30 "November is going to be expensive 4 WAS gigs, hotels, trains, alcohol, alcohol on trains, let's not spend too much this month." Revised note to self on Oct 2 "leave work ASAP to buy loads of WAS merch cost be damned."
At this point, I should just mail you my credit card and you can do what you will with it.
