Late to the game on this one due to my own travelling, but I have to agree with Lou on how great it is to hear each tune reimagined so creatively. I have a hard time picking a favourite from Lobes, but Dispense is usually vying for the top spot and this version just serves to solidify that choice.
And, as someone who does a lot of prairie driving, I can confirm that Olive Garden is the most cost effective, electrolyte efficient choice for surviving the endless identical miles.
Such a treat listening to these in the UK as the day is coming to an end. Love The Get Up Kids! And, to be fair to Billie, her oral hygiene does look EXCELLENT. Show off those gnashers, girl! π
I love how every single one of these songs has been given a complete makeover. This one feels positively jaunty in comparison to the album version. Itβs also a song Iβd love to hear live.
T2Ks is an excellent abbreviation which should be put into use more often. Keith Carne should also be commended for sharing the aforementioned playlist (and the House Music) one. All these little details make the tour really fun to follow. I was also very excited to find a song on there whose title references SE Hintonβs βThe Outsidersβ.
Poor Billie! I couldnβt help but laugh at that photo but that might be the most endearing thing Iβve ever heard. Bless her!
Thereβs a lot of love for Billie, and I share this, after all who can resist such a smile. However, what about the unnamed yet regal looking dog in the background?
Thank you! Feeling spoilt with another amazing track.
Also, thereβs nothing like the feeling of the adrenaline rush that only a low petrol warning light can bring on when you donβt know if youβll make it to the pump in time. Never ran out though. Yet.
My husband has - twice at least. And last night we were crawling down the last bit of motorway back from Heathrow to conserve the battery on his current electric car. It was less adrenaline I felt and more a sense that I might stop speaking to him if we had to get out and push!
Youβre too right, there are great bands out of Lawrence! I found that 3LP Appleseed at a yard sale for $5!? Mates are just about the loveliest people youβd hope to meet. And Iβm stoked Matt Pryorβs got a book coming out in January. When are yβall going to jump onboard with Polyvinyl?

Gosh the music during the bridge and the final chorus is CHARMING. Music to walk next to a breezy sea to!

Completely agree, I'd love to hear Dispense with Sentiment live.

Really bummed to find out I have the same personality flaw as a dog, plus she's ten times cuter than me!
Hard same, Emma π€£π
I would die for Billie

I'd never risk running out with my girlfriend in the passenger seat. The trouble I'd be in would not be worth the adrenaline.
Aw! I remember meeting Chrisβ brother in LA circa 2018. Hope heβs doing well. Judging by Billieβs face, I would say GREAT.
Also? Iβm so glad someone else in this band appreciates Olive Garden as much as I do.
