Hey, guys, just a quick check in. I’m at the bar inside the Holiday in on 32nd street and 7th avenue. This will be morning number two. writing with thumbs on my phone which is about to die so. please excuse any punctuation or spelling. We rolled u p here after the Deftones shows at MSG two nights ago and it has been a n incredible two days. Thursday night I was sable to sneak into someone’s room and sleep on their couch, just acting confused in the morning. Certainly awkward but not a big deal at all. You may have heard that the huevos rancheros here are “to die for” — that’s literally a quote from the google maps reviews. Let me set the record straight and tell you that they are super terrible. Top two or three worst huevos rancheros of my entire life. Anyway last night I checked about a hundred doors (in fact probably close to 200) and unfortunately everybody’s door had latched, so I ended up grabbing some zees in a stairwell for about forty minutes before being awakened by hotel staff, then pretended to be on the phone on a couch in the lobby till the bar opened back up (8am). phone was actually dead but I was able to charge it a little this morning since Zonia (sp?) the morning bartender is chill. anyway if you are rolling through midtown please roll up and pull up a stool and let’s get a drink!
