Hey, goons! Whatโs up, ya boss babies?
Anybody see that movie? Did you know itโs Alec Baldwinโs highest grossing film? Of all the difficult things that have happened during Mr. Baldwinโs life, that plain fact must be what troubles him most in the wee, dark hours before dawn.
I am here to remind you that on Friday at 3pm EST / 8pm BST, we will โgo liveโ on Substack as part of their very good Music & Creativity sessions (info on some of the other events is worth checking out). Hereโs proof:
If you subscribe to this newsletter, youโll get an email notification โ as well as a notification from the Substack app (!) โ when we begin. Just tap one of those notifications to tune in. You can also join the stream by visiting our Substack page at 3pm EST on Friday, subscriber or no.
What can you expect from Fridayโs livestream? Why, nothing short of a life-changing metamorphosis. The very foundation of reality will be rattled and may crumble, at least in your case. Keith will also play the new single on an acoustic guitar.
About that new single. Itโs called โPlease Donโt Say It.โ Itโs f*****โ good, team. โIt hits like bricks,โ someone must have once said. Hereโs the digital artwork, your man Keith Carne caught in a quiet moment during a recent tour:
And yes, the video weโve been jabbering about lately is for โPDSI,โ and it debuts tomorrow on Youtube โย 3:30pm EST / 8:30pm BST. Keith M. will be in the chat for the premiere answering questions, and asking some of his own. And if you head over there early, you can watch the trailer, which has nothing at all to do with the actual video:
Lots more coming down the pike before too long โ for now a couple of last bits:
Yes, you can pre-save the single on your favorite streaming service. Some people have trouble remembering to listen to songs they want to listen to, and for them pre-saving is a godsend. They should go here.
It is an exciting time for friends of We Are Scientists, and also a great time to start listening to this band, or at least reading about our music. If you know someone whoโs out in the cold, share this newsletter with them, for it is like unto a woolen blanket:
Thatโs all for today. Catch you Friday! Weโre gonna go run around in the yard for a while!

Given the current state of reality, it feels like its crumbling may be a service to humanity. Good work!
Here we fuckinโ gooooo ๐ฅ
