Livestream Today; Personalized Video 4U
"How can I make Keith & Chris talk to me like a human being?"
“Just another Thursday,” you said.
“Ho hum,” you thought.
“I can hardly tell this day from any other,” you opined.
Goodness, how wrong you were.
First of all, today, unlike yesterday or even the day before (and certainly nothing at all like tomorrow!), we’re going live on Youtube. Yes, our Livestream Catastrophe returns at 4pm EST (9pm GMT) for its fourth installment, and what a show it’s shaping up to be. Music, laffs, probably that walrus — grab a glass of something and come join us 🍺🍷🍹.
Something else that makes today unique among all days in history: Lobes bundles disappear tonight at midnight(-ish). WTF is a Lobes bundle? It’s that thing on our web store where we sell you a copy of new album Lobes along with one or two other things — a cat pin, a sweatshirt, maybe some beer — and slap on a discount. Get them here.
What’s even more exciting (and perhaps that first part didn’t even rise to the level of “exciting”) is that today only, any purchase on our web store that includes a copy of Lobes (in any format) will get a personalized video from us, to you (ergo “personalized”). We’ll send everyone who qualifies an email tomorrow or the next day asking for a couple of details, then the videos will follow shortly thereafter.
Simply incredible. No other band is doing this. No other band can do this.
So far this post has been deadly serious, but that’s all about to change.
Remember the video we made for “Turn It Up”? You know how it had all those shots of us hanging out, usually drinking, appearing to have all kindsa fun? Well, do you want to know what was actually going on under the music? Then you should watch this!
It’s the “Turn It Up Hangout Shots UNLOCKED” video. It gets rid of that loud, loud song (“Turn It Up”) so you can step right onto the set of the video shoot, and watch us pretend to have fun for the camera. AMAZING. Other bands have tried this and failed.
This vid is exclusively for you, our newsletter subscribers, so please do not share the address with newsletter haters (the video is unlisted on Youtube). Or, y’know, share it if you like, just make sure the recipient knows where this kind of radical content comes from.
Lastly, Keith is trying to figure out who left these wires at his house. Please pipe up in the comments if it was you.
Thanks, everyone. See you later today. In the meantime, stay frosty!
🥂,
Keith & Chris
One of those wires is definitely mine but not sure about the rest, sorry! Maybe check with Paul, or Susan.
