Hi — WOW! It’s been a minute. We suck, for sure. But also, we’ve been hard at work on things that will directly benefit you and your descendants! Stuff related to Lobes💣.
Yes, it’s out tomorrow. And we’ll be back on this newspaper tomorrow, too, with a nice acoustic lobe, plus some other news and facts and maybe an old-fashioned photograph or two. Today, though, here’s a nice languid Stoop Chat for you to play while you bake your lunch. Please enjoy! Hope you can understand our accents!
Some things going on today, besides you reading this:
At 2pm EST (7 GMT) the music video for new release “Turn It Up” premieres on our Youtube flap. This thing is a stunner. There’s a screen grab below, just to give you an idea.
At 5pm EST (10 GMT), there will be a quiz on our Discord server concerning “the music videos of W.A.S.” The winner gets a NON-musical video, made by us, for them specifically, like with their name in it. But really, everybody who plays this quiz wins (except people who get too into it, have a panic attack, and start screaming at their family).
ALL DAY: This is the last day to pre-order “Lobes.” Why the hell pre-order it, when you’re this close to being able to simply order it? Pre-orders come with an art card (a beautiful variation on the cover image), signed by the band, and are entered into a competition to get free concert tickets, meet & greet us, receive some free merch — YOU know the drill. Not a huge deal, but today’s the last chance to receive these considerations along with your purchase of this very great album.
ALL DAY: Speaking of kinda-crazy, nonessential shit like “pre-ordering,” why not go pre-save the album “Lobes” on your favorite streaming service? Someone told us this helps us, and it sounded good when we heard the words, but now we forget quite what happens. Inspired? There’s a really nice list of pre-save links here.
MUCH LATER: Dinner. This is up to you — treat yourself! It’s Lobes Eve, for goodness’ sake.
May the day caress your cheek with a gentle breeze, and may your gaze travel distances, even if you’re stuck in an office chair,
Chris & Keith 🪑

Saw the show on Friday. As always you guys are so much fun live. As my brother put it, "They can make a lot of noise for three people."
Happy Loves Eve! Currently sat in Heathrow departures waiting for our flight to New York (so excited for tomorrow) so this appeared at the perfect time. People around me might have thought I was slightly insane though with the amount of laughing I was doing.
Ricky Wilson definitely covers some ground on stage. We saw KCs in November and he started off up near the roof and actually traversed the whole of the arena in one song, never mind the stage. Something to aspire to, maybe.
Also, really hope you don’t have a day off between Prague and Vienna. We are coming to those two shows but also have tix for Bratislava which is the day in between (unless I’ve really messed up 🤦🏻♀️)
Anyway, eight hour flight to look forward to now. See you guys tomorrow night. We’ll hopefully be down the front somewhere.
