Let’s bask in this moment for a minute. Let’s just put Lobes on, quiet right down, and give it a healthy few spins… 

Okay, a couple of things, real quick. There’s a prize at the bottom of the email, if only you can make it through these treacherous bullet points:

• One neat side-effect of Lobes having been released is that if you go to our webstore and order it, it gets shipped immediately! Likewise if you go buy it in your favorite record store, they will hand it to you right after scanning your money chip. To summarize: you can now buy Lobes and actually get it.

• We put together a real, old-fashioned music video for track 5, “Turn It Up,” and it’s going to reset your expectations for moving images. Click here if you’re ready for that kind of significant change.

• We’re bringing Lobes to Tim’s Twitter Listening Party on Sunday at 4pm EST (9pm GMT). That happens on Twitter, dummy.

• We’re bringing the SHOW LOBES tour to many towns in the U.K. and Europe in February, March, and April — an impressive list is on our website. (And hey, if you’re in New York, we’re at Brooklyn Made this very night. 😉) Before the tour kicks off, we’ve got a cheeky couple of in-stores in Kingston and Brighton (UK).

• Aaaaaand, we wrote about it in this very newsletter last month, but you assumed we were drunk: we have our very own beer now. It’s called Lobes Pils, is brewed by the fine people at Arundel Brewery, and for now is a U.K. exclusive. If you have a U.K. mailbox, or want to send some beer to one, go to our U.K. merch store.
