Hey, how are you?
We know, we know: “Bad,” “Not great,” “In jail.” But guess what? We did a new song. It’s called “Operator Error,” and it’ll put a smile on your face — maybe even brighten up that cell a little (rats really seem to love it):
See???
Next week we’ll have news about what’s coming up for us this fall, but before weighing you down with a raft of plans and dates and style guides, we wanted to give you some time alone with the new track. Dim your screen, jack your speakers, grab a Sprite and take this song for a couple spins. You and “OE” both deserve that.
There’s one current event that’s best mentioned now, since your eyeballs are already touching it: we’ve moved our mailing list over to Substack. — THIS mailing list. You’re on Substack. Right now! Nice, huh? REAL NICE! 🤩
(If you’re immediately upset by this and want only posts relevant to new music & touring, take a deep breath, then visit your account settings here and uncheck “The Good & The Great.”)
We’re calling this new location Slow Descent Into Radness, and if in the past you’ve enjoyed our sense of humor, strong jaw lines, and tuneful vocals, S.D.I.R. will likely be right up your alley, and all the pins fall down (a “strike,” in baseball fights).
We won’t lie to you: we like writing dumb sh¡#. We also like posting audio (sue us). We are not afraid of a video camera. This substack is going to be a technicolor garbage-art dump landing in your inbox every couple days. If you’re not up for that… you should still try it. We’re legally not allowed to say “don’t try it.” Worse comes to worst, you have to smash your computer 🤷🏽♂️. Big deal. The ascendency of the murderous AI regime is slowed!
And if there’s someone you know who will want to descend into the Rad with you, smash:
Go exploring and you may notice there’s a “paid” version of S.D.I.R., but until we figure out what exactly we’re doing here, all posts will be free to everyone. Of course, if you want to buy one of us a monthly beer (you’ll never know which guy used your $5!), we won’t refuse:
We love you all, and more importantly we are IN LOVE with you all. But there will be time for that. Right now… we hope you enjoy the new song.
Best Friends (of each other and you),
Keith and Chris
Super invested in this. Love the new song. It’s been on repeat today.
For the 100 minutes this song was on repeat, I'll buy you both a beer every month for the rest of our lives.
