When life turns up the heat, people react in one of two ways:

• You grow tired, then indolent, then totally inert, lowering yourself to the ground wherever you happen to be standing. Heart rate and respiration slow; activity in the prefrontal cortex stalls completely.

• You hop in the van and go play some shows.

We do number two, and here’s proof:

These shows go on sale Friday, except for the ones in Portugal and the festivals, which are already handing out tickets to pretty much anyone who asks.

How do you take your big news? With a side of small news? Okay, sure: Right now at our U.K. web store, there are signed setlists, signed tour posters, and signed lyric sheets, plus refreshed sizes of several t-shirts and the black sweatshirt (“jumper”), and a restock of the Big Huff distortion pedal. AND, the Drinking Cat pin and the Smoking Cat pin are both available for pre-order (we expect them in stock next month). North American buyers should not despair: we’re shipping Big Huffs and lyric sheets to our store in Kansas next week.

Not our Drinking Cat and Smoking Cat pins, but rather two inferior pins created by AI. Still… these are pretty good. I don't know, maybe they're better than ours. Shit. Well, these don't exist in the real world, so you might as well just forget about them.
