Throwing the ol’ cowboy-cat-on-a-crocodile into the ring to feature on a hat (or if not then definitely on a t-shirt!). Hands down the best Huffy artwork (IMHO), twas a shame not to see any such merch available on previous tours. Please make it right! 😂
Oh INTERESTING. You mean the cat cowboy riding the crocodile while waving his hat around, right? That would be funny on a dad hat, not least because the hats don’t match! (Better than when they draw tuxedos on tshirts, not as good as when they draw nuclear waste symbols on underwear.) What color hat do you want it on?
That’s the million dollar question. Maybe a heather blue (like the smoking cat t-shirt), or failing that a classic black or white. Could we also explore whether it would pass the Bechdel test? If so I’d be intrigued as to the topics of their conversations.
You’re welcome! I once found myself in the beer tent queue behind you (Ward Park, Bangor ?2009) and was so starstruck I failed to offer to buy you a 🍺 then so am glad to finally put that right! 😂
When you were talking about The Brothers Grimsby, I, too, was thinking of Ace Ventura. Keith’s description was spot on - I think it’s the only thing I remember about that film. I love your note about the Bechdel test too. I have to find a book which would pass and one which would fail over the next few weeks for book club so that’s made me think a little more carefully about my choices.
Very excited for Lisbon next week, and Cardiff in August. I hope it sells out as it’s such a great venue. Genuinely one of my favourite places to see bands.
So much in this chat that I completely forgot you mentioned this until just now, but we recently watched Evil Dead Rises and really enjoyed it. It’s pretty much everything you want from a basic horror movie. I’m not a fan of the original films though, so perhaps I’m not the best judge.
Oh! I’ve just had a look on you tube and those animals are in terrible shape! If they were in the UK there would be a strong case for a special edition of The Repair Shop.
I really like the idea of the caps. Adjustable would be nice.
But today I had to find out in the merchandise shop that there are almost no sizes available for the t-shirts. I find that a big problem. I would have liked to have ordered a shirt with the cd in April so that shipping from the UK would be worthwhile. But if everything is sold out and that doesn't improve until today, it will be difficult. That can't be in your interest.
Hey, Enrico — you’re right! We need to refuel the shirt stock on the store. That will happen in the next week or two, as we manufacture stock the UK shows.
I always give a firm no to bucket hats. I thought we had left them in the 90s with The New Radicals and now they are everywhere again 😭 Caps all the way though! A Huffy themed one would be cool, covered in doodles.
That's the Brothers Grimsby on my list of things to watch when my girlfriend isn't in, if only to see the the elephant scene which she definitely wouldn't like.
Re the hats: I do think you're missing one option from the poll, 'No hat but I will still buy one if you did them'.

Dad Hat, but must come with some form of cat or plain ‘ol WAS logo.
*Googles 'DAD HAT'* 🧐
Oh, Google doesn’t know about Dad hats

Oh wow! What a serendipitous, circuitous ol’ life this is!

I really wanted to go to the Cardiff date, but had already booked James Acaster tickets 😭 I will see you in Porto though 👋🏻
That’s fair, although our show will have better jokes.
BOLD CLAIM! Believable though.
Oh, FYI, it’s Christian Grey.

Except a bucket hat is actually the only style of hat I can get away with wearing. Plus it’s fully functional as a sun hat.
You’re too good for a bucket hat, you need something fancy like a top hat or fedora 🎩
😂😂😂 Sadly, they weren’t options!
Just realised someone has already had that idea. I fully endorse it.

Yes, BG is a great one for when sensitive viewers are away. And good point on the poll!
