In the uk, Del is short for Derek so whenever you discuss this Iโ€™m picturing and old British guy named Derek Taco. Iโ€™m not suggesting this is not the case with Del Taco, perhaps it is but either way makes me smile. Also, is having taco as your surname sufficient qualification to open your own chain of Mexican restaurants? Who am I to say. I guess thatโ€™s why the US of A is considered the land of hopes and dreams

KM deciding not to get anything else with cheese is the most damning review I've ever heard. Although your notes further suggest that, as a Canadian, avoiding local Bell-eries was already a good call. ๐ŸŒฎ

So, main take aways are - orange Dorito dust, adhesive cheese and a remarkable lack of enthusiasm from a hung over Keith Murray. Iโ€™m not feeling much of an urge to visit, especially in the UK where, as your past experience seems to confirm, fast food is generally pretty dire. I would also argue that all fast food tends to be a young personโ€™s game, not just Taco Bell. I am intrigued by the drink though. What makes it different from all the other blue raspberry slushies on the market? Was it actually that good, or was it just the hangover effect?
