I remember seeing WAS on the main stage of Reading Festival one year (2008?) and I don't know if this was a bit or not but they said that they had a real nice backdrop for the stage but it got lost in transit or something so they played in front of a small WAS flag instead. As such, I think it's almost a shame that U2 didn't have technical difficulties at The Sphere and have to play that huge venue in front of a flag with the band name on instead. Never too old for some character building.
I’m really hoping you guys weren’t bullshitting about that Vegas concert or festival because I love it when you guys play there. I’ll never forget one of the times you played in downtown Vegas I won like $200 from a slot machine the next day. 😄
I always fall over myself to buy LCD tickets when they play the UK because you never know if you’ll see them again 😂 they did the residency thing last time at Brixton Academy, cost me a bloody fortune in trains and the hotel. 😂😂
Also, I salute the bloody eyeball idea for both occasions. (Was going to say it would be something to behold but then thought that was a pretty horrible pun 😖)
