I’ve loved following this tour, not only by physically attending a show (which was incredible btw) but also through the online offerings from yourselves (acoustic Lobes and the Dirt from the Road podcast were absolute treats - so excited that another chat and that download are happening!), and from other fans sharing concert footage and photos from gigs. Very much enjoyed Sean’s opening act but I’m a little gutted not to get to see Newski, as well. Very jealous of everyone going to those last two concerts!
Nearly a year on, I am still completely in love with Lobes and I have had an amazing time listening to it (a lot) and also seeing you guys perform it live. I look forward to seeing what next year brings. Have a great time tonight and tomorrow and then take a well-deserved rest. You have 100% earned it.
I'd have loved to have been able to catch one of your North American gigs but it wasn’t logistically possible so the tour updates were the next best thing. Throwing acoustic Lobes into the mix was a welcome bonus too.
Fingers crossed for some more UK/European dates in the not so distant future (2024 please).
You mentioned band names in the stoop chat and it reminded me, apparently one of my other favourite bands, Carter USM, originally wanted to change what the abbreviation USM stood for ahead of every gig they did. However, they didn’t bother after making up a crude banner with “Cater the Unstoppable Sex Machine” for one of their first gigs and deciding it’d be too much effort to do another banner.
the tour ending is weirdly sad for me? i’ve thoroughly enjoyed all of the updates and photos along the way. so glad to have started my year with you guys (Brooklyn Made) and ended it with you guys (Paper Tiger & Aisle 5). truly an awesome year ♥️
... Also ...bet 5,000 of those miles were in Texas 😑. Driving is silence is the best. But if course life is always a good goal 👍🏽. Oh yay!! I enjoyed y'all's last Newski talk... hmm... Chris you might want to stick to your day job, you'll have to convince us if your interview skills, but I'm skeptical 🧐 JK!!! You do awesome interviews, so I'm sure you'll do great! LMAO "they are like us 15 years ago and I am impressed" hahaha Newski is awesome! Oh FUN! Don't forget to include San Antonio! We are kinda close to Mexico 😉😁 ... I am a new listener.... Just FYI 😬

If I'm not drumming on a steering wheel I simply cannot drive 😬 Oh, I'm at Heathrow Airport!!! 🤓🗽🎊
If you're off to the gig then I'm jealous as hell.
I admit, my comment was a desperate attempt at keeping my jealousy at bay for a little while longer.
Of course she is! 😂
I went, I saw and I conk...ed out!
I read that as you had a great time so my jealousy was justified. 🙂
I'm afraid it really w.a.s.

Just FYI I can't stop playing "Turn It Up" over and over ... and over 😬 can't wait to hear the acoustic

Always been the trouble with pole dancing. You need to find a shop with the correct strength of industrial fittings to accommodate.
