There's amazing vegetarian in Chicago! But yes, not in the neighborhood around Empty Bottle unfortunately. Great show last night! And love this acoustic version.

This version is GORGEOUS enough to make a man cry. This is something that could be played at a wedding

What a fabulous version! Not a song I ever thought could be described as sounding sweet, but that's exactly what this is.

Also, I would absolutely read the Adventures of Chris and Keiths, Boy Detectives.

Me too, I was reading it thinking I wish they'd write a book 😂 even if it's just about these types of adventures.

That is an inspired idea for a book series!

Yeah, 'sweet' captures the vibe of this version nicely 🤗

This is such a lush arrangement of 🥰

In light of the fact that Kansas City's Messner Bee Farm has just announced it's set to re-open to the public for the first time since 2020 (🥹🐝) I think tomorrow's track will be Lucky Just To Be(e) Here.

I would have said I love Turn It Up for it’s high energy but this is an altogether mellower affair and absolutely beautiful. I think it’s wonderful. Thank you. Also, great show last night. You guys absolutely smashed it!

So, the Kansas NFL team is the Chiefs....and that's about all I got. However, they did win the Superbowl in the 22/23 season and since Miracle of '22 was released in 2023, that all seems to wrap things up in a neat little bow.

Also, I enjoyed both Turn It Up and the cat photo.

Just listened to that 3 times in a row. “Turn it up” is already one of my favourite tracks on Lobes and the acoustic version you posted is just amazing. If the rest of the acoustic versions continue to be of this quality I’m going to have to up my game when describing how good they are.

One of my faves off the album and I love this acoustic version too!

I love this version of Turn it Up: sublime. Will the acoustic versions of tracks from Lobes ever make it on to streaming services like Spotify etc?

Still working on the plan for that, David…

Amazing, because I think that you guys are one of the very few bands (if not the only band) I have ever heard whose acoustic versions are as brilliant as your full band versions! Thank you for these brilliant acoustics this week! 😊

I so hope that these acoustic tracks will be put on Spotify so I can listen to them over and over in the car. They are so good!

Ooh this is a semitone down from the album version! 🤓🎹 Any reason why?

Good ear. THat's actually how we play it live. The reason is cuz the chorus is so damn high. Keith occasionally sings stuff for recording that's a little higher than he ends up wanting to sing night after night on tour, while also jumping around and shredding on the ol' guitar. (No Wait At Five Leaves is another we step down to play live.) He'd have had no problem singing this acoustic number in the original key sitting in his office, but I suspect he has just become used to the new key.

Fascinated to hear how the key change pile-up in Miracle of '22 is handled acoustically!
