Perfect. I had at least one Don Henley album when I was in high school, but I don't remember now which one it was. I do remember that I got it for one penny from the Columbia Record and Tape Club. That's value!
I always feel like I'm just autistic enough to never be sure how much of it is the bit and how much of it is just two dudes being liminal with each other
Nice to have a recording of Keith's version of this song! So far, I've had to rely on my memory from all the times I've heard him play it live. I've yet to be in Keith's presence without hearing this song to be honest.
Pretty sure that all the laughing from reading those lyrics count as my workout for the week! Thank you guys, in these times of economic hardship I appreciate your efforts to save us the money of a gym membership!
We actually considered making a “guarantee” that if you could find a gym membership cheaper than SDIR ($5/mo), we’d pay for it ourselves, but it just seemed like what’s the point.
Beautiful song (which has clearly been played before) about transitioning to veganism. I look forward to more songs about dietary preferences, hopefully released on an album coming soon..?
My husband is a bit obsessed with Don Henley so I have heard this song a lot (although possibly not 10,000 times) Really enjoyed this - particularly appreciated Ba-boola-bah Ba-hanja! It’s put a big smile on my face. Thank you.

That's a valid point of confusion. Our close friends also feel that way.
I've never heard this song before, but I never want to hear the original after listening to this cover.
Ok, so I’d like to hear ‘Smooth Operator’ next then please! Who’s with me?
This reminds me so much of the night Chris played a bass only solo version of Free Fallin' by Tom Petty.
I don't know how but he made it work!
I'll never forget it.
People don’t talk about it much but all Tom Petty’s songs can have the guitar and drums removed without affecting the quality

Right? Apparently he was asleep while playing or something?
He's so talented! If you've played a song that often though, makes sense you can do it in your sleep.

Play something from “The Stranger”!
I'd love to hear more covers. I remember hearing some years ago you guys doing a cover of Crazy Train which was really good!
See, now THAT song I remember playing!

I have to assume that you are right that it has been played before (at least by Mr. Henley, but not by me)!
