Utterly loved this! Always nice to hear a tour chat and especially for a tour that holds so many great memories. It was lovely to see Sean and Zeno in the UK. I hope they felt embraced by the fans as I think they truly were. The miscellany of the chat was also great. I’m really not sure it’s possible to have too much pea and butter chat and any discussion of Meg 2 is always welcome in my book. (Outstandingly terrible film!)
Hope all goes well on Wednesday. Looking forward to lots more live dates next year.
Sincere thanks for a genuinely wonderful tour. Can’t wait for the next one.
Really loved listening to this stoop chat, it was definitely worth staying up late to listen to last night.
I think the Sean and Zeno went down well and were a great addition to the line up for BTM. It was great seeing you all settle into performing together across the gigs I went to and, for me, added to the whole experience of what was a great set of concerts.
Loved the extended mentions of my adoptive home town of Leeds as well as the royal armouries museum. I'm hoping they saw the war elephant when they were there unless they missed it due to the preponderance of crossbows.
The royal armouries is a couple of minutes walk from my flat and everyone who stays with us gets taken there at least once. Whether that's for their benefit of my own is a separate matter.
Irish butter is the best butter in the world and I’m so glad you guys know the joy of Kerrygold! 🧈🇮🇪
Mushy peas are the best, however the “Macho peas” they do as a side in Nando’s? Also top tier!
Sean and Zeno, it was so great to see you both kill it as a part of this very special tour (and loved hearing your Greggs orders on this stoop chat, would definitely recommend the creamy chicken bake). Please come back soon!
The superiority of petit pois was something I learnt from my girlfriend after we moved in together. I once bought garden peas from the supermarket and I quickly learnt that was the wrong choice of frozen pea.
Went to the Glasgow show last week - brilliant night (as always) but definitely extra special to hear BTM again in all its glory! Sean and Zeno' set was also fantastic - I've spent the last week obsessively trawling through Spotify and YouTube listening to all their stuff. Seriously (seriously) recommend it 👌.
This was a great pick me up to listen to at the end of the day. Always love the randomness of your stoop conversations and the opportunity to peek into your lives on and off tour 🙂 So looking forward to 2025 and new music from WAS/Sean/Telecoms. Hope the Bowery Ballroom show goes well tomorrow night, and we get to see another 1000 pictures documenting the event from Guy Eppel 🤞
P.S. the Thekla show was on 20th November, which was a Wednesday, not a Tuesday 😉 How many of those Jack Roses you been drinking? 🥴😂
Wait! Richie Sambora didn’t leave the band until 2013??!!! I honestly had no idea Bon Jovi were still even a thing at that point. I’ve enjoyed this documentary this week. An easy way to pass the evenings of the first few days back at work. Featuring some very entertaining side-eyes from JBJ. Also a great comment from my daughter - “Wait, is that his actual name, or is it like Dimitri Fire Emblem?”
Aah yes Adam Scott's U2/REM podcast is so good. I don't even particularly like U2 but listened to the whole thing cos they are so entertaining. And Party Down is for sure underrated and deserves to be better known.

Have you tried petits pois, though? They are even more superior to the Garden Pea 🫛
