Purchased both. Going tonight. I think your animals will be fed for quite some time. All I know is, Iām just as lucky to be around you folks as well š
As much as I love every track from Lobes, this one might be my least favourite. (Sorry, but with such a stellar album, something has to finish last!) This acoustic version, however, is beautiful! You are to be commended on producing ten incredible new versions of what were already faultless tracks imo. I look forward to being able to download them all. Thank you.
Agree they've done the whole album proud. I've loved all the acoustic versions and changed how I've felt about the 2 songs that would fall into the category of "least favourite".
ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø all the acoustic versions, but this one is extra special to me. I was lucky just to be there first for your kickoff show at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto for my first WAS experience. Canāt wait to do it again sometime. Please šš» release an acoustic version of Lobes in any format. Take my money. Safe travels and keep putting smiles on all your fans faces š«¶
Just listened to this and immediately had to put it on again. Beautiful, as they all have been. LJTBH is one of 3 songs that have moved me to tears during gigs (the others being Sprinkles and 5 Leaves) and this version is getting pretty close again. Grudgingly having to admit that sometimes, just *sometimes* music is better without drums...
Iāve just listened to all ten tracks back to back in the order released and itās given me shivers. Apologies for gushing but Iām going to anyway! I didnāt think it was possible to love Lobes more than I did already but having these two versions alongside each other really does make it an album for all seasons. These songs are honestly faultless. I like the order too. Finishing with those vocal harmonies on LJTBH is perfect. Top marks!
Thank you so much for these acoustic versions. Iāve been waiting for this track in particular and it didnāt disappoint in the slightest. All 10 have been brilliant and Iām looking forward to being able to get them in once place when theyāre ready.
Great work, Keith, the song really holds up in this version. Saw you guys last night at the Roxy and was another great show. I appreciated the attention of all three of you after the show signing autographs and responding to my questions. Chris told me why the bass sounded different during Buckle. Keith2 shared where his cowbell came from, and Keith1 was evasive in saying who was the primary force in going disco on this album :-)
I have been enjoying your acoustic variations on this application since your Don Henley cover & have managed to save them on a playlist on my cellular telephone (ssshhh - donāt ask!)...
BUT what should the playlist be called??
Currently itās āSlow Descent Info Radness) for obvious reasons, but was wondering if you could suggest anything else?

I knew this one would be good, but its really hit me in the emosh. Especially loving the subtle harmonies. 10/10
