Can't believe you've never heard of this ape??!! To be fair, she's never been captured this cinematically before, so bravo 👏🏼 Attenborough's gonna be so jealous.

The terminally online conspiracy theorists are already going WILD suggesting that the ape is actually CGI as nobody could possibly bust moves like that in the real world.

After a couple of years of listening to fabulous “Great Apes” on SubStack, it is indeed fortuitous that you have found your own real life Great Ape on our fair UK shores. What a beautifully shot video, sea and landscape, suits the moody vibe of this song perfectly 🥰

The Bamburgh ape is famous for its dancing. Just be warned, if you play it some heavy 90's DnB it tends to go ape shit with excitement.

Love the video!

After growing up hearing my Dad's (from Sunderland) folkloric tales of beasts from the the North East, most chillingly the fate of the Hartlepool monkey, it's heartwarming to see the Bamburgh ape living it's best life 🙏

Still loving the atmosphere the cello brings to ICDMW and when the guitar riff takes off ❤️‍🔥
